Nestled at the foot of the Five Sisters of Kintail in a glen that boasts no fewer than 21 Munros, Woodlands enjoys the best of both worlds being in a remote location yet having a shop, bar and restaurant all within walking distance. This warm, spacious house caters for 12 people extrememly comfortably. Bag a few Munros, ramble through forests and isolated glens, wander along tumbling burns and lochs or enoy the miles of coastline the North West of Scotland is famous for.

The cottage is well-placed for exploring much of the highlands and islands. You can enjoy the serenity of the Applecross coastline accessed via the highest road in Scotland, cruise along Loch Ness, explore the fascinating iron-age brochs of Glenelg or go over the sea to Skye. Other nearby attractions include Eilean Donan Castle, the cascading waters of the Falls of Glomach, the beautiful gardens of Inverview, Attadale and Armadale and, of course, the abundance of wildlife the area has to offer. Take a seal trip, sail in a glass-bottomed boat, go boating, pony trekking, llama trekking, mackerel fishing or just relax in the house and enjoy the mountainous views.

In additional to the 21 Munros in the area, other mountain ranges (Cuillin, Torridon, Nevis, Glenelg and Knoydart) are easily accessed from the house.

Kyaking, rafting, quad biking, skiing and snowboarding are also within around a 75 minute drive away.

Please note, Woodlands now has wireless broadband. In an outside timber building is a pool table plus there are many games and puzzles in the house. Children love the house and find plenty to do. It is also fantastic for large family get-togethers as the layout of the house lends itself to socialising extremely well.

Please note that the beach is a rocky one and not sandy.

A thirty percent deposit is required within one week of provisionally booking the cottage to secure the booking.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit in non-refundable unless the owner manages to re-let the property for the full amount. In this event, a full refund would be given with no charge for administration.

Electronic payment or a cheque are both accepted methods of payment.
