Vacation Rental Description

Raasay & Rona are two detached cottages, set in the tranquil village of Melvaig, near Gairloch, in the magnificent Scottish Highlands.
Beautifully furnished and finished to a high standard throughout and rated 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, Visitscotland.
Large L shaped lounge/dining room with picture windows overlooking the sea and islands. Satellite TV, DVD,radio/cassette/CD player,telephone. Fully fitted modern kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with fitted wardrobes and quality furniture. Bathroom with bath, sink, wc and separate walk-in shower. Spacious hall, porches front and rear. Central heating, enclosed gardens and parking for 2 cars at each property. Private access to the beach.
Restaurant in the village. The mountains are just a short drive away, as are the many sandy beaches, bays and coves. The area is a haven for nesting birds and marine life: sea eagles, whales, dolphns, porpoise, otters, seals and basking sharks are often seen. Walking, climbing, fishing, golf course, museum and derr museum, local swimming pool, falconry and the famous Inverewe Gardens are just a few of the attractions on offer
