Come and experience the outstanding natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands and stay in one of our small group of comfortable lodges ranging in size from 6 to 18 beds (with our 58-bed central building occasionally available for self-catering use). We offer you a tranquil forest location in stunning scenic and unspoilt Glen Feshie. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, book one or more of our action packed adventure activity days or enjoy all that the Aviemore area has to offer – the choice is yours!  
 
Lagganlia is easily accessible by air, rail or road (we are less than 15 minutes from the A9) and we are only 15 minutes by car to the nearby mountain resorts of Aviemore and Kingussie. The nearest village (1½ miles) is Kincraig with it’s hotel restaurants, bar and village shop.  
 
Situated within the forest at the very edge of the main Lagganlia site and with forest walks direct from your doorstep, Ptarmigan Lodge provides comfortable accommodation for families or small groups of up to 6 people. Your lodge has a comfortable lounge/dining room with TV (Freesat) and DVD, a well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and kettle. There are 3 bedrooms:two x twin bedded rooms and one x twin room (bunk bed), a bathroom and shower room. 
 
All gas electricity is included in the price. 
 
Arrival time is from 4pm onwards Departure time: 10am Minimum booking: 2 nights  
 
Please note: 
We operate a strict no smoking policy in all of our buildings and do not accept bookings from stag or hen parties.  
All bedding is included and all our duvets and pillows are non-feather. Tea towels are also provided but you will need to bring your own towels. We provide some washing up liquid, dishwasher powder and toilet rolls for your arrival but you will need to bring your own.  
Unfortunately, as we often have children on-site we cannot allow pets inside any of our buildings. However, with prior agreement you can bring well behaved dogs to Lagganlia providing they stay in your car, are kept on a lead whilst on-site and that they are toileted off-site (and you clean up any accidental fouling on the site). Please contact us to enquire.  
Mobile phone reception can be variable however there is a coin operated public phone box situated near to Reception

There is a secluded outdoor seating area with picnic bench and a portable barbeque. All you will need for your barbeque can be purchased nearby in Aviemore.

Activity Adventure Days are available at Lagganlia - you can try up to 2 diffierent activities from our extensive list for £270 per day for a group of up to 10. Activities available include gorge walking, mountain biking, dry ski slope, archery, climbing and canoeing

A 20% deposit is required in order to confirm an booking. If you are booking one or more activity days these must be paid for in full at the time of booking. We accept all major credit/debit cards and cheques made out to "Edinburgh City Council". Balance payment is due 30 days before arrival. If payment is not received by this date your booking will be deemed to have been cancelled (we will make every effort to contact you before cancelling your booking). Cancellations must be made in writing – via post or e-mail. If you cancel your deposit and any activity day fees are non-refundable. Where cancellation occurs within 60 days of your arrival you will be liable to pay the full amount of your balance invoice. We reserve the right to make charges to cover the replacement/repair/excess cleaning cost of any breakages/damages etc to Lagganlia buildings or property attributable to your group members during your stay.
