Our bright and stylish corner apartment situated in Roseburn, is approximately 1/2 mile from the centre of Historic Edinburgh. Built in the 1890's the apartment is part of a traditional Scottish, stone built, tenement block and has retained much of its character, with original cornices and its slightly off-set rooms.
Our building may be 1890s but our apartment has been fully modernised with gas central heating and radiators in every room. Located on the first floor, the apartment is accessed via a secure entry-phone system and has been refurbished and decorated to a high standard, with a new kitchen and bathroom (with shower). The open aspect of the Sitting Room with its sofas and easy chairs provides a relaxing environment - ideal after a hard day sightseeing. The spacious kitchen houses a dining alcove with table and chairs, and all mod cons are provided (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc). The double bedroom has full length mirrored wardrobes, the small single bedroom is accessed from the living room and has its own window; these, combined with a sofa bed in the Living Room offer accommodation for four.
Roseburn Place is located one street back from the main thoroughfare to Edinburgh from the West and offers an easy and flat walk or a short bus ride to the city centre for most Festival venues and Historic attractions. There is free on-street parking but again, guests are advised to leave the car behind if they are visiting the city centre.
