3 Bedroom Cottage in Dumfries & Galloway

The cottages and fishings are normally let weekly from Sunday to Sunday. We ask you to arrive after 4pm and leave by 10am on the morning of departure. Upon booking we will send a booking form to be signed and returned to us along with your deposit of £100 per week, once we have received this then the booking is confirmed. We ask for the full price (not the balance) to be paid 6 weeks before arrival at Kirkwood or else cancellation may be assumed and the deposit retained. Normally we return the deposit (minus charges for fuel, purchases, hiring and any damages) within four weeks of the holiday. We accept payment by cheque (made payable to Kirkwood Cottages), debit cards (at no extra cost) and credit cards (with a surcharge of 3%). Electricity is charged extra and will be deducted from your deposit, as is any other fuel such as coal, which is supplied at cost to all the traditional cottages with coal fires. Any other costs incurred here are normally deducted from the deposit.
