Stone Cottage is a little self-catering gem nestled on the banks of the river Cree right at the heart of one of Scotland`s loveliest and yet quietest regions. The cottage is set in its own ground with private, off-road parking,close to the bustling town of Newton Stewart. Within minutes of its doorstep the visitor has access to top quality fishing, golf, mountain-biking, hill-walking and many other pursuits, all of which are set amongst superb Scottish scenery. 
 
For the less active visitor the region offers historic towns, unspoilt sea-side villages, castles,archeological sites, bird-watching and any amount of tranquil walks along coastline and in forest. 
 
A stay at Stone Cottage gives our guests the opportunity to move back into the quiet lane for a while,take the time to enjoy the scenery that surrounds us and live life at a more relaxed and tranquil pace.
