Vacation Rental Description
A privately owned self catering lodge, close by the waters of Loch Lomond, Scotland. This comfortable three bedroom lodge is available for letting all year. For cosy breaks and wonderful walks on the banks of Loch Lomond on clear crisp winter days to the long summer days out on the water, Lodge 22 has all you need.
This is indeed an idyllic location for children, safe grounds, a private gently sloping sandy beach and flat grassy areas.
All bed linen and towels are included as is gas and electricity. Bedroom-1 has 2 single beds, bedroom-2 has a double bed, bedroom-3 has 2 sets of bunk beds and additional sofa bed in the living room.
Entry to the estate is by a remote control operated gate, ensuring that only lodge visitors and owners have access to the site.
The lodge is set in the Scottish Highlands at Rowardennan which is principally a hotel, a Youth Hostel a mile away, scattered hill cottages and the lodges themselves. There are 36 lodges on the estate which are all privately owned. A few are let out by their owners for holiday accommodation .
At the southern part of Highlands of Scotland, Ben Lomond at just under 1,000 metres high provides a dramatic backdrop to this area and the site. There is a gentling sloping beach of sand and pebbles which is accessible most of the year except when the loch water is very high in winter. Launching of power boats and sailing craft is quite easy. There are two slips as well as a fixed jetty.
Temporary mooring available at extra cost for stay
This is a very peaceful area, the road finishes just past the hotel and most of the ‘traffic’ is walkers following the West Highland Way – one of Scotland’s most famous long hikes from Bearsden, north Glasgow to Fort William.

Our three bedroomed lodge is situated at Rowardennan on the banks of Loch Lomond. It is one of thirty six private lodges set in quiet grounds adjacent to the Rowardennan Hotel.
It boasts a small beach with jetty looking out to the loch and great panoramic views of both the Loch and Ben lomond.
Rowardennan is on the east shores of Loch Lomond, 7 miles north from the village of Balmaha. The site itself is right on the lochside and our lodge is just a few metres from the water. This is the quieter side of Loch Lomond and an area famous for the West Highland Way and Ben Lomond.
Loch Lomond is perhaps one of Scotland’s most stunning and internationally renowned locations found at the southern end of the Scottish Highlands.
It is the largest fresh water loch in Scotland and is part of Scotland's first National Park - an area where visitors have travelled to take in spectacular scenery, sail, walk and climb - and simply breathe fresh air.
