Vacation Rental Description
This renovated farmhouse forms part of a traditional Scottish farm steading no longer used in the farming business. The self catering accommodation provides for comfortable family vacations in a peaceful Scottish rural location. 
On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen/dining room; a lounge with open fire, "metal action" chair beds; shower room, and lobby with coat and boot storage. The kitchen is equipped as described on our accommodation page, and also benefits from a dishwasher. A satellite dish is installed for guests who might wish to bring their own decoder. 
Upstairs there are three bedrooms: 2 double/twin bedrooms; 1 bedroom with 2 adult sized bunk beds and a bathroom. 
There is an enclosed garden and a south facing courtyard with an adjacent games and leisure room. To the south can be seen the Fintry Hills and Campsie Fells and to the west, Ben Lomond. 
In all, Arnvicar Farmhouse can accommodate 6 to 8 persons. 
Our self-catering guests are all welcome to enjoy the estate amenities which include a Victorian Pinetum/ woodland walk, oak parklands and walking along or fishing on our own 3 miles stretch of the river Forth. 
 
For the keen angler the well known Lake of Menteith Fishery is just down the road, the eager cook so will find the Nick Nairn Cooks’ School equally close by. For those interested in Botany etc the estate borders Flanders Moss, one of the foremost Raised Bogs in Europe. Not forgetting the wonderful scottish countryside and hills for the walker.

    * A deposit of 20% of the total rent is required to confirm a booking. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of a cancellation. The submission of a completed booking form and receipt of a deposit shall constitute an offer by the hirer. The balance must be paid at least 6 weeks before arrival. In the event of failure to submit the balance 6 weeks before the due date of entry we reserve the right to re-let the property. Unless it has been previously agreed. In the event of cancellation the balance, less expenses, will only be refunded if the property is re-let.The property must be clean and tidy and the owners reserve the right to charge for any abnormal cleaning that is deemed necessary. Hirers will be responsible for the cost of making good any damage caused to the property during their occupancy. All breakages must be paid for. Dogs are welcome on the understanding they are house trained and kept out of bedrooms.
