Travel Options
Owner Location Comment
Glenahuil is only 50 miles from Glasgow Airport by road and ferry across the Firth of Clyde, but it will take you 2 - 3 hours at a minimum. The road is often spectacular but is sometimes single track and winds around the hills and around lochs.Once south of Tighnabruaich, the single track road around the Ardlamont peninsula is quiet and beautiful as it passes through farms by the shore. The track up the hill to Glenahuil heads north immediately after the grey stone buildings which are part of Ardlamont Estate. As one passses through the gate 1/4 mile up the track all the cares and worries of the world fall away and one finds a fantastic, peaceful place for a holiday.
