Main Description
The cottage is a traditional 300 yr old building with historical interest (C Listed )It is compact and very cosy because of the 2 feet thich walls Recently it has been renovated throughout to 2008 standards The property used to be the local drinking house (many years ago) We have the drinking well in the new house as a feature The lounge has a fold down Ikea sofa bed and a bedroom which has a King sized bed The kitchen is compact but very comfortable has a fridge with small freezer compartment,microwave,electric hob and oven, electric kettle toaster all necessary utensils and dishes The bathroom has a double sized shower cubicle Sorry we have no bath The garden has table and chairs and a barbecue for the good weather. Free parking in our lit enclosed courtyard off the road surrounded by beautiful counrtyside minutes away from Loch Lomond The cycle path runs past the cottage and onto either Loch Lomond or to the seaside town of Helensburgh which is 3 miles along the path on the Gareloch and the river Clyde. Glasgow airport is 30 minutes by car and we are easy to find. There is a train service which runs to Glasgow in Helensburgh which is great for shopping and taking in the cultural experience
