Holiday in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park at Bluefolds Cottages. Folds, our luxury cottage, is in a tastefully restored farmhouse with stunning mountain views located in rural Glenlivet, Speyside in the North East of Scotland. Excellent location for exploring highlands of Scotland, from Aberdeen to Inverness – ideal for relaxing, wildlife, walking, whisky, touring, skiing or golfing. Pets welcome. Come and relax at our self catering holiday cottages in this undiscovered corner of Scotland between Dufftown and Tomintoul.

The cottage has a large lounge/dining room a separate kitchen with a multi fuel stove and a utility room as well as a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 large family bedrooms with wash basins and a double and single bed in each.

There is a great Pub/restaurant, the Croft Inn about 2 miles from the cottages. We love well behaved pets for a small extra charge. Skiing in season is at the Lecht ski resort about 12 miles distant. There is an excellent golf course at Dufftown about 9 miles distant.

There are a selection of way marked trails on the Glenlivet estate with walks by rivers and on hills and even mountains. The Glenlivet distillery is 4 miles from the cottages and offers free tours complimented by a "free dram". There is an outstanding amount of wildlife in the area including roe deer, buzzards, kestrels, curlews, oystercatchers, red squirrels, pine martins and many small birds. There is sking at the Lecht resort close to Tomintoul. There is fishing on rivers and lochs in the area. There is an excellent golf course at Dufftown. It is comfortable to drive on the quiet roads around this area and it is easy to drive into the mountains or down to the sea on the Moray Firth coast.

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking and the outstanding balance is due 4 weeks before date of arrival. The deposit is non refundable, but can be transferred to another holiday. If the holiday has to be cancelled after final payment due to unforseen circumstances, then if the cottage can be re-let the balance or a portion of it would be refunded. A 10% discount is given, if only 2 people occupy the accommodation
