Vacation Rental Description
Set on the coast about a mile due west of Portsoy, Westerwards Croft is ideally suited for exploring the coastline and highlands.
The cottage enjoys panoramic views across the Moray Firth to the north and the hills to the south. Portsoy a 17th century fishing village offering shops and restaurants is within easy reach.
Westerwards Croft is fully modernised to a high standard whilst preserving its natural character.
Westerwards Croft is on a single storey and comfortably sleeps five. It was built in the 17th century as a croft with farm steading. This was renovated a few years ago and the steading was incorporated into the living accommodation. Many of the original features were retained including feature stone walls and deep window recesses. All rooms overlook the sea which is about 100 yards from the house.
The sitting room has a vaulted beamed ceiling and leads into the kitchen/diner. A corridor from the kitchen leads to the bedrooms and main bathroom. There are three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. The double bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower.
