Situated in the very heart of the delightful village of Middleton by Youlgreave, this traditional cottage is an early 19th Century stone built terraced cottage that looks out across the green and village square. Full of period charm, this property has lots of character with a quaint sitting room boasting a cosy wood-burning stove and a well-equipped fitted kitchen which opens onto a small dining area. With both a front and rear garden, this property has plenty of outdoor space for relaxing, sunbathing and al fresco dining, whilst the beautiful surrounding countryside offers excellent walking.

Electric storage heaters with additional heating from wood burning stove in the sitting room. Electric oven, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, stereo/CD player, radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Garden patio area with garden furniture. Off road parking on the village square in front of the cottage. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Situated in lovely rolling countryside above the River Bradford is the small, quiet and secluded village of Middleton by Youlgreave. With an old square and a village green with a Second World War memorial, the village is composed of picture-perfect cottages whilst its slightly larger neighbour, Youlgreave - once the centre of the Derbyshire lead-mining industry – provides traditional old pubs and village stores. The attractive old market town of Bakewell is nearby and offers a further range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a frequent local market. Due to its charming situation in the Peak District National Park, there are plenty of walking routes in the area amidst the beautiful scenery, whilst for those seeking thrills and spills Britain’s most popular theme park, Alton Towers, is only a short drive away.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. <br/><br/>Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
