With extremely spacious accommodation, this property has been well equipped with a full range of modern appliances as well as a four-poster bed, exposed beams and a warm and cosy wood burning stove in the sitting room.

Set in an idyllic rural position on the edge of the famous old town of Glossop is a wonderful semi-detached barn conversion called Lees Hall Cottage. The barn sits in expansive grounds with a large pond – on which a family of Canadian Wild Geese are resident for part of the year. Surrounded by lovely countryside and with excellent walking from the doorstep, as well as great local amenities, this pretty cottage is an ideal base for a holiday at any time of the year.

Gas, electricity and initial supply for the woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Lawned garden with pond, patio, garden furniture & BBQ. Pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 10 minutes walk. Note: Children should be supervised near the pond and plunge pool. Note: Property accessed via unadopted road which is uneven & untarmaced - unsuitable for low vehicles. In the extreme west of Derbyshire, surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery in the Peak District is the bustling former Mill town of Glossop. Ideally placed for making the most of the nearby Peak District National Park, or the spa town of Buxton, this lovely settlement has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. The peaceful village of Hayfield is also close by and is popular amongst walkers attracted to the area by its close proximity to Kinder Scout. Edale is only a few miles away and is set at the beginning of the Pennine Way and offers pubs, cafes and restaurants, giving visitors plenty to see and do in this area.

All bookings are subject to an additional £35.00 booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods.
