Ivy Cottage is a 17th century granary converted in the early 1900's into a three bedroom 3 storey cottage. It has a modern kitchen/diner complete with dishwasher,washing machine oven, fridge freezer and microwave. The lounge has a wood burning stove. On the first floor there is 1 double bedroom and large bathroom. On the second floor is the master bedroom with kingsize bed and single bedroom. There is also a porch with window seats so that you can watch the birds in the front garden. The garden is enclosed and secure. 
 
Ivy Cottage is situated in the beautiful peaceful hamlet of Priest Hutton 10 miles from the historic town of Lancaster and 13 miles from Kendal, gateway to the Lakes. 
The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Lake District (Windermere 20 miles) Yorkshire Dales (Ingleborough 18 miles) and Forest of Bowland (20 miles). Activities include walking, fishing, cycling, bird watching and many extreme activites available in the Lake District such a Ghyll Scrambling. The beach at Morecambe is also nearby.  
 
The nearest pub/restaurant is less than a mile away with the new Greenlands Farm Village also less than a mile away where local produce is available. 
 
There is a small patio area complete with outdoor dining table, chairs and barbecue.
