Linen and towels are available if required - in this case beds will be made up ready for weary travellers. For a really good night’s sleep mattresses are state of the art memory foam. ON ARRIVAL Park around the back on the private roadway. A security light and covered entrance enable you to unpack easily even if it's dark or wet when you arrive.

Langdale View has an enviable location amid some of Lakeland’s most spectacular scenery. Everywhere you look is natural beauty! By road it is only 4 1/2 miles from Ambleside, 5 1/2 from Coniston & 3 from Grasmere. For excitement drive over the mountain pass to the sea.  
 
Climbers will enjoy the impressive Langdale Pikes & Scafell. Grasmere is an hour's walk over the hill! It's also easy to get to Elterwater, Rydal, Ambleside, Skelwith Bridge etc on foot for a fantastic day out. The Cumbrian Way and the river run along the outskirts of the village. Lake and several quality pubs nearby. 

Set on the edge of the charming little village of Chapel Stile at the head of the Langdale Valley, this is the perfect location from which to explore the beauty of the Lake District on foot, by car or using the local buses. Chapel Stile has its own friendly shop and cafe and a wonderful church which houses the Langdale tapestry. Wainwrights pub with excellent meals and the prestigious Langdale Country Club is a stroll away if you fancy a spa day.
