This fantastic single storey wing of the owner's property is idyllically situated on the side of Newlands Valley between Braithwaite and Buttermere. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to a high standard and features a lovely balcony with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. With three bedrooms, a spacious living area and a modern, well-equipped kitchen, this property offers guests a warm, welcoming atmosphere and all modern conveniences. Walkers visiting the property will be spoiled for choice, with Skiddaw on one side, and Catbells on the other, as well as numerous rambling routes from the doorstep across Maiden Moor, Dale Head, Grisdale Pike and Causey Pike. With its wonderful position, mature gardens, and easy access to Keswick and the Lakes, this is a fantastic location for a holiday spent outdoors with friends.

Activities

The charming village of Braithwaite is set in a stunning location between the magnificent northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite. With whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops and two real ale Inns, each brimming with character, the settlement has retained much of its traditional appeal and offers the added attraction of the Coledale Beck which runs through the village. The beautiful Newlands Valley is situated between Braithwaite and Buttermere, whilst picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw, walkers of all abilities are catered for in this diverse location. Visitors will enjoy a trip to Mirehouse - a grand house and gardens on the shores of the lake with an open-air theatre, as well as trips around the lake. Trotters Farm, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick are also within easy reach.

				Low Season Price:	£480 per Week
				High Season Price:	£860 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
