This property is a spacious, detached cottage offering comfortable accommodation for up to six people.

Situated in a private location just off the centre of Norham, this property is a spacious detached cottage all on one level. The sitting room is a lovely bright room with a small study area and an open fire, perfect for a relaxing evening after a hard day’s sight-seeing. The large airy dining kitchen is well equipped and has a useful utility area. There are three generous bedrooms and a bathroom with separate shower. The lawned garden has a barbecue and seating all ready to enjoy al fresco dining. The nearest shop and pub are only a three minute walk away. This property is perfect for a family holiday and is ideally placed as a base to visit Northumberland’s spectacular unspoiled scenery and discover the Scottish Borders.

Note: While the accommodation is on one level, the property itself is accessed via 2 small external steps.

Activities

Norham is famous for the ruins of an impressive Norman castle, which was immortalised by the great artist Turner in 1845. The village is well served by an excellent butcher’s shop, a bakery, post office, newsagents, two public houses and a grocer’s shop. There is a children’s play area on the lovely village green. Nearby in Swinton there is an award winning restaurant at the “Wheatsheaf” pub. Berwick-upon-Tweed is only seven miles away and has excellent train links to Newcastle and Edinburgh as well as many other facilities. Cornhill-upon-Tweed is also nearby and is close to the site of the battle of Flodden. Norham is ideally situated to take advantage of both the Scottish Borders and the lovely county of Northumberland.

				High Season Price:	£712 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
