This semi-detached barn conversion, eight miles from Berwick, offers accommodation arranged all on the ground floor. The three beautifully-furnished bedrooms comprise two twins and a king-size double with en-suite. The situation is quite delightful, deep in the countryside, in a sympathetic development of four holiday properties in the hamlet of Berrington Lough. The Long Barn has been designed for the greatest possible comfort, with underfloor heating and an open-plan living area with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The property, restored and finished to a high standard, offers spacious accommodation to suit all ages. The sitting room windows look out over stunning country views.

Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 4 miles. The coastal town of Berwick has a fascinating history. It is the most northern town in England and as such has been the subject of bitter battles over the centuries, as first English and then the Scottish sought control. In all, it changed owners 14 times before ending up south of the border. The narrow streets are, even now, protected by sturdy walls from the Elizabethan era. The townspeople are proud of the Maltings Arts Centre, which offers a hugely varied programme of music, theatre and other entertainment. Berwick also has fine shops, pubs and restaurants and families will enjoy the leisure centre with its wave pool. There is also first-rate fishing, horse-riding and golf on offer locally. The seaside town of Spittal, which boasts beautiful sandy beaches, is only two miles away and the whole Heritage Coastline is easily accessed.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
