With two bedrooms able to sleep up to four people, this property is composed of a modern kitchen, leading to sitting room with dining area and a wood-burning stove, set into an inglenook fireplace and is full of traditional charm.

Situated just off the square in the pretty village of Powburn, this charming property is an end terraced, former country estate worker’s cottage just nine miles from Alnwick. The cottage was built in the 19th Century but has been recently renovated to offer comfortable, warm and cosy accommodation. This property is just five minutes away from the Northumbrian National Park, whilst the beachs of the Heritage Coast are all accessible within half an hour’s drive making this charming house a great base for anyone looking to explore Northumberland.

Shop 4 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk, children’s park available 50m from property. Situated in the foothills of the Cheviots and surrounded by glorious countryside, The pretty Northumberland village of Powburn is an excellent holiday location. With a shop and pub within the village itself and a wide range of further shopping and eating opportunities in the nearby town of Alnwick, Powburn is well served. Alnwick is also home to the incredible Alnwick Castle, the film location for Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter movies, as well as the Castle Gardens. Within easy driving distance is the spectacular Heritage Coast of Northumberland, offering sandy beaches and great wildlife habitat. Another point of interest is the house and gardens at Cragside – currently owned by the National Trust. With so much to see and do close by, Powburn makes an excellent base from which to explore this wonderful region.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
