Renovated to a high standard, with plenty of period charm, this lovely little cottage comes with a comfortable sitting room - with wood-burning stove - a modern fitted kitchen with dining area and two double bedrooms.

Providing cosy accommodation, Nurses' Home is a charming, recently refurbished terraced house, close to the river in the centre of the village of West Thirston. With a small courtyard to the rear of the property with patio furniture, this lovely little cottage offers a great opportunity to enjoy some al fresco dining, or simply a good book in the sunshine. With the shops pubs and restaurant of Alnwick only a short drive away, this great little property is an excellent base for anyone looking to explore the wider region.

Between Morpeth and Alnwick, visitors to Northumberland can find the lovely village of West Thirston. A mere ten miles south of Alnwick, this sleepy little village boasts a shop, pub and restaurant, but with the larger town so close at hand, tourists to the area can also enjoy the famous Alnwick Castle - famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films – and its picturesque gardens. These stunning grounds feature Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. With miles of sandy golden beaches, the Farne Islands and the cosmopolitan city of Newcastle nearby, this wonderful little village has something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of whether you’re planning a summer or a winter visit.

All bookings are subject to an additional £35.00 booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
