Vacation Rental Description
This spectacular property has river views from 2 of the three bedrooms, as well as the lounge area, the other bedroom overlooks a beautiful square with mature planting. The house has free off street parking for one car. To view more pictures and full detal please visit our web site www.vacationsinlondon.com The house is set over 3 floors with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area taking up the whole of the first floor, there's a large picture window so that guests may enjoy the views of the passing river traffic from their sofas. There is free wireless internet service provided along with the latest High Definition SKY/Plus satellite TV with 40" flat screen, so one may watch the news happening in your country. The decor is light, airey and comfortable.
There is a small front garden in front of the Thames pathway and River Thames. We have unrestricted river views of the Wildlife and passing Ships. (Sadly, Michael Jackson was booked for 50 shows in July 2009.) Full details of other London events are available in the house. We keep all up to date timetimes for the local River Cruises and river bus to Westminster/Greenwich, plus phamplets on other attractions such as museums; theatres; markets; restaurants; shops; parklands and lots more all easy to access from local tube, London Red Buses or Black London cabs. Top Chefs have restaurants nearby, please see the web site.
Being in Zone 2 of the Central London Underground Network, this location represents the cheapest ticket for all inner London stations. Local stations are South Quay, Crossharbour and Canary Wharf with it's 200 shops and restaurants, landscaped gardens, fountains and parklands. Covent Garden Opera is screened frequently for free in the Cabot Square gardens.
We have several local spa's nearby the property offering swimming, gym, badminton, squash and being on the river there are several local sailing clubs offering jet skying, sailing races and special water events. There's a tennis court just across the road from the house which is for everyone to use.
Facilities
This house has full kitchen facilities with all the usual home from home facilities, including full size dishwasher and washing machine. Included in the rental is FAST WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE, A STATE OF THE ART 40" HIGH DEFINITION/SKY.PLUS SATELLITE TV, WITH RECORD OPTIONS AND INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES. There's private off street free parking. The second floor bathroom has a double power shower enclosure. The 3rd floor has a large jacuzzi bath with overhead shower,bidet, WC and vanity unit, all en-suite. This floor has a full sized balcony overlooking the River where you can just sit, sip and relax watching the cormorants dive. The location of the property is in a private off road square, so at the back of the house there are no car fumes, no racing traffic or noise, just mature roses and other planting in the leafy gardens with lots of seating. The front door is on the River side of the house allowing just a Thames Pathway in front of the small front garden.
Activities
There are activities throughout the year which are advertised in the local press.Sailing; long boat races; punting and river boat cruises are a few. We keep a scrap book of items from the local papers which may be of interest such as cheap theatre deals; Oyster card offers which allow chidren to travel the underground free of charge, we are in the cheapest zone 2 for rail cards and tickets; Excel Exhibition Centre is very close by; The O2 Arena is well worth a visit and we provide details of the various concert tickets; Greenwich museums and markets; Docklands museum; local markets, including the famous Billingsgate Fish Market, There are celebrity Chefs such as Jamie Oliver; Gordon Ramsay with local restaurants, so you would not suffer from lack of choice and price. The location for this lovely 4* Self catering rental is quite special. You have the quiet tranquil waters of the River Thames, 180o unobructed river views, the passing ships and wildlife and then, you have the hustle and bustle of lively shops and restaurants at nearby Canary Walk, just a few minutes walk away. This is indeed a very Historic area with 3 local 16th Century Ale houses to visit (Smugglers Inns). Or take the River Bus for that special river journey through the Center of London Town up river to Westminster Pier. There are 3 local train stations, South Quay, Crossharbour, Canary Wharf for the Jubilee Line and the DLR Line. So no where is too far. Across from the house you have the 02 Arena with its array of daily events and shows,(just 6 minutes by local train right into the complex) plus of course the on site restaurants. Just 2 miles away, is the Olympic Stadium, now well under construction for the 2012 Games. There is also the International Excel Exhibition Centre 3 miles so it is worth checking what event is on when you come. It is only 12 minutes by train from this location. Or visit the famous streets of Covent Garden, Carnaby Street or the West End. So much to enjoy! Travel Options

We have locally 3 rail stations which are all part of the Central London Underground Network. Located in Zone 2 this is the cheapest ticket you can buy. We also have the River Shuttle Bus at Canary Wharf which carries you away in style to Westminster Pier in 10 mintues stopping at other inner London Piers along the way. Alternatively, you can travel down river to Greenwich, about 6 minutes travel time. There are of course local Black Taxis and Red London Buses if you wish to travel and watch the sights.

All rates are fully inclusive. SPECIAL DISCOUNT OF 10% APPLIES FOR SAME MONTH BOOKINGS WHERE DATES ARE STILL FREE. 5% discount is always allowed our previous guests. Our Rates include: *Parking, off street, for one car, Wireless internet broadband and satellite TV with 40 inch screen in High Definition, full Sky satellite package. We take £200 booking deposit which is non-refundable and then 2 months before arrival the full balance is due. After payment of the balance if cancellation occurs then we would do our very best to relet the period and refund the monies obtained for this late booking. Had a great visi,t as we found your property had everything needed and was positioned well for the transport etc without being too noisy. The Gun was hard to faault for meals but you do have the " river walk" to walk it off after. Had dinner there last night. Would recommend your place to any of our friends in future that are coming to London. By the way loved the view which is great for photographic buffs.

Spectacular 4**** s/c 3 bed. 2 bath Holiday Rental near Canary Wharf, London.
A superb 4**** holiday rental in London, near Canary Wharf on the River Thames and overlooking the 02 Arena. Nearby, you will find the Excel Exhibition Centre and much more. This quiet location offers the tourist or business man an ideal location in light and airy comfortable accommodation. This comfortable townhouse offers 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathooms, full kitchen, dining area and lounge overlooking the passing traffic on the river and wildlife. A relaxing tranquil spot while still being close to all the local amenities.
Nearby, we have negotiated a 10% discount from three local fine restaurants, all within walking distance. There are lots to choose from however and many shops and bars in this exciting location.
Nearby you will find all the attractions of London and there are lots within easy walking distance from the house.

I currently live in the Midlands but for 20 years was based in Central London, so I know the areas quite well and can assist my guests in all sorts of areas of interest.
