This amazing family home is fantastic value for money. You’ll have more room than you know what to do with! Each bedroom is abundantly large, so no reason at all for the kids not spread out and play – there’s plenty of room for everyone. Finished in a very contemporary style with unique wall art this home isn’t lacking style either. All the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard, making this a high quality 'home from home' for your stay in London.  
 
The sitting room gives onto a huge garden that is stocked with a great choice of children’s toys and the kids will even have their very own play house. 
 
 
Located in lively Balham, it's just a 5 minute walk to from Balham Underground and Mainline Stations - getting you into the 'West End' in minutes. Balham has a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops, including both Waitrose and Sainsbury’s supermarkets. All are within a 5 minute walk, making a car completely unnecessary, though there is safe off-street parking right in front of the house. Restaurants ranging from Thai to Italian, Persian to Portuguese and Moroccan to Sri Lankan begin just a 20 second walk up the street!  
 
And if it's wide open spaces you're after - for a stroll or a jog - Clapham, Wandsworth and Tooting Commons (boasting Europe's biggest open air swimming pool, tennis courts, kids playground etc) are all within a few minutes’ walk.

The large eat-in kitchen has a 6 ring gas/electric cooker and a large table that comfortably seats 10 adults, kiddie friendly items; The bedding configuration can be manipulated if required by your family/group; however, standard configuration is as follows: Bedroom 5: Single bed which converts to a double Bedroom 4: Single bed + child's bed Bedroom 3: Single bunk beds Bedroom 2: Single bunk beds & 1 king bed Bedroom 1: Double bed On this floor there is a WC with a toilet & sink and a modern family bathroom with a white suite consisting of toilet, sink, and full sized bath with a shower over it. The second floor has the very private master bedroom with large en-suite shower room. Baby cot & high chairs provided free of charge upon your request.

A contract shall only arise when both your booking is confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent by email. If the Booking is made within 8 weeks of your arrival date the whole of the Rental Sum
If the Booking is made before 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, a Rental Deposit of 25% of the Rental Sum is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the Rental Sum is then due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. We accept payment via debit/credit card.

We live in Balham, in SW London & are specialists in short term lets in the area. We are continually expanding our portfolio of holiday lets to accommodate the needs of not only holidaymakers, but other people who require stays from as little as 3 nights such business executives, those visiting family in Balham/Clapham/Streatham/Tooting/Colliers Wood, or people temporarily requiring a home due to improvements being made to their own & even those who've been unfortunate enough to be forced out of their homes due to accidental damages like fire. Whatever your reason, our comfortable and clean 'home from homes' will provide the high level short term accommodation you require. All of our apartments are within 20 minutes of the centre of London and very close to a Tube or Rail station, or both.

Mike bought his first flat in London about 12 years ago - this is now known as 'Fernlea View'. I emigrated from Canada in 2001 and we have both stayed living in the heart of Balham because we love the vibe of it and the excellent transportation links into Central London. Victoria station is only 11 minutes away on the overground train and we can get to the West End in 15 minutes.

All our our London holiday lets are done to the same high standards and are kept immaculately clean. We take great pride in what we do and draw from a combined 40 years of working in the travel industry. Mike has his own property development company, specialising in basement conversions (Balham Basement Company), so it's easy for me to ensure that all of our places are kept up whilst I concentrate on everything else that is required to provide a comfortable 'home from home' for our guests.

In addition to operating holiday lets in South West London, where we live, we also have a lovely characterful cottage is the Sierra de Aracena in Spain, just northwest of Seville. We love the lush green mountains in this unique area of Spain that doesn't get dry and burnt out like the rest does. It's great for walking, good food & wine and experiencing the 'real Spain'. We try to stay in Casa Castano as often as possible. We walk from little village to village, stopping for tapas and a beer and then, tired out, enjoy the great views from our large roof terrace whilst listening to the birds. In the winter, spring and autumn we always have a real wood fire burning. It's the ultimate place to chill out!
