This spacious apartment occupies the top two floors of a Georgian house in Bloomsbury. Although the house was built in the 1790s, it has been newly refurbished and now boasts all the luxuries of a modern home, while retaining some original features including wooden shutters at the windows and large rooms. Close to tube stations and buses and walking distance from many of London's finest attractions, this is an ideal holiday home for a family looking to explore London from a central base.
The kitchen was installed in 2006 and is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, washing machine with integrated drier and lots of pots, dishes and cooking equipment. Children's cutlery, cups and dishes are in the cupboard too. There is a dining table with six chairs. The kitchen adjoins the large living room which has two sofas, satellite TV and dvd player. Some dvds, books about London, toys for young children, puzzles and games are in the bookcase. MP3 players can be plugged into our set of speakers. Going up the narrow staircase to what would have been the servant's quarters is the master bedroom with king-size double bed, one single bed, wardrobe, Victorian furniture, hairdryer and bedside tables with reading lamps. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both rooms have blackout roller blinds so that you aren't woken by the early morning sun. The smart bathroom has black & white tiles on the floor, bath, separate power-shower, wc and basin.
A cot and highchair are available on request. Plus some other baby equipment - please ask for what you need. A mobile (cell) phone is available for your use. You just pay for the calls. Internet access is WiFi. Please bring your laptop to access internet.
Towels and linen included. Cleaners generally come once a week but can come more often by arrangement at £10 an hour. Iron and ironing board available.
