Set in the quaint and picturesque conservation village of Egleton in Rutland, St Monica’s Cottage provides luxury, well equipped self catering accommodation following its recent renovation.
This predominantly stone built and thatched cottage overlooks farmland to the rear, beyond which is Rutland Water. Within the village is the Egleton Bird Watching Centre, which becomes home to the annual International Bird Fair during August.
With accommodation for up to 6 people, St Monica’s provides single storey accommodation suitable for a couple or couples wanting a quiet retreat, perhaps visiting some local attractions or for families wishing to enjoy the many activities available locally. Bird watching, cycling, sailing, walking, fishing, windsurfing and golf are all easily accessible nearby.

Burghley House is 20 minutes by car, Belvoir Castle 45 minutes by car.
