This restored early 2 bedroom Victorian cottage is situated in the conservation area on the edge of a quiet village. The original 2 up, 2 down cottage has been fully restored and has been sensitively extended at the rear in keeping with the style of the original cottage. Most rooms have beams and there are internal old pine shutters in the upstairs rooms. There is a large south facing patio and a range of outbuildings. 3 cars can be parked on the drive.
The cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists, National Trust enthusiasts and families looking for a child friendly holiday.

The cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists, National Trust enthusiasts and families looking for a child friendly holiday. A pet is welcome by prior arrangement.
The holiday cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms (one double bed & 2 singles). There is a bed settee in the sitting room that can accommodate a further 2 guests. The cottage stands in its own garden which is lawned with flower beds and mature trees.
The large south facing sheltered garden is perfect for relaxing.
The cottage is situated in a quiet rural village 3 miles from the A1 & about 14 miles from the M1. The village has 2 pubs, one of which serves meals during the day time. There is also a Post Office and general store.
There is a large Tesco supermarket 3 miles away together with a range of local shops. The Robin Wood Way passes within about 30 yards from the cottage and there are plenty of local walks across the fields and into parts of Sherwood Forest.
