“Excellent”
5 out of 5
Beautiful house. gorgeous village, amazing country. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was provided, the cottage itself was more than we could have ever expected and the owners were more than helpful without ever being intrusive. We can honestly say that, throughout our entire European trip, this was the most relaxing and enjoyable time that we had. We would recommend this cottage (and the owners) to anyone who wishes to experience the real England

“Absolutely fabulous cottage for young families”
5 out of 5
We stayed between Christmas and New Year with our young children (1 and 5), the grandparents and a dog. The cottage was very warm and cosy. It's a very spacious place even for 6 people. The sofa bed is in a separate lounge downstairs and in effect a 3rd bedroom. The kitchen is the best equipped we ever had in holiday accomodation. The garden is brilliant and our 5 year old was up a tree most times. The gate on the drive closes and therefore makes it a very safe garden. All 7 of us hugely enjoyed our time in and around the cottage

“Beautiful, comfortable, well-updated cottage”
5 out of 5
The Cottage is a beautiful Victorian cottage that has been carefully modernised. It is very well appointed, with top-notch fittings, attention to detail and a sympathy to the original features. It was warm, comfortable, bright and extrmely clean. The rooms are all spacious and well-equipped with a layout that worked great for a group of friends but would work just as well for a family.
Richard and Wendy were really hospitable and a joy to deal with. Having stayed in a few properties around the country, this cottage really stood out. I have nothing negative to say, and hope to be back!

“Beautiful Cottage for Perfect Holiday”
5 out of 5
The Cottage at Walesby is a beautifully renovated property that is one of the best equipped holiday rentals we have ever stayed in. Warm, comfortable and very clean, the cottage provides a wonderful base to investigate the surrounding attractions while it's own charm also makes 'staying in' very attractive too!! Before arriving, the owners Richard and Wendy Holloway ensured everything we might need after a long haul flight from Australia was provided. Their consideration and welcome is reflected in the style of property they have created. The whole family sincerely hopes that we can return one day.
