Three luxurious cottages available for rent individually or as a group. Converted from 18th century farm buildings into superb accommodation, you can relax and unwind in a wonderful, peaceful setting. We are surrounded by some of the most spectacular countryside in the National Park! Lush, tranquil dales and wild romantic highlands can be explored on foot, horseback or by car. The Manifold Trail runs below Swainsley Farm (with easy access for pushchairs or wheelchair users) and offers 9.5 miles of excellent cycling. Fishing, pony trekking, water sports and cycle hire are all available locally. 
 
The less adventurous may just want to stroll through fields into Dovedale, walk along the banks of the Manifold River or visit some of our pretty villages with their lovely old churches and ancient inns. Village shops are close-by and there are some wonderful places to eat. 
 
Alton Towers, Matlock Bath and Chatsworth are within 15 miles. There are many National Trust properties, country houses, gardens and family attractions in the area.

OLD BYRE, sleeps 2, 1 bedroom, grading 5 stars, (price/week: from £325 upto £475) 
Cosy and romantic cottage with wonderful views. Beamed, open-plan living/dining room and kitchen with attractive rugs on terracotta tiles. First floor: lovely double bedroom and new deluxe bathroom/WC with over bath shower. 
 
Each cottage has a dishwasher, wm/dryer, microwave, fridge, freezer, TV and DVD

      High Season Price: €695 per Week
         

    We require a non-returnable deposit of 25% of the total cost with the balance of payment 28 days before your holiday. Payment can be by cheque (please make payable to Mr & Mrs Snook and send to Swainsley Farm, Butterton, nr Leek, Staffordshire ST13 7SS). or, by credit/debit card (please phone with card details - some credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard have a surcharge of 2.69% which we pass onto you, debit cards have no surcharge). Cancellations. If a booking is cancelled upto 28 days before the start of the holiday 50% of the full hire charge will be payable. Cancellation within 28 days will result in the full charge being payable. We will use our best endeavours to re-let a cottage and you will be credited with the net value of the re-letting. We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance.
