East Anglia is blessed with wonderful countryside, lovely unspoilt villages and old country towns. Tourist attractions, good pubs and restaurants abound. The heart of the region is Suffolk and in the centre of Suffolk is Baylham House Farm.

In our old farmhouse on the banks of the River Gipping we have a completely self-contained, self-catering holiday unit called The Annexe which will sleep four adults plus a cot.

The Annexe has a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room (NB the twin beds are 2ft 6 ins wide), a sitting room, a bathroom and a separate toilet, all upstairs. Downstairs there is an entrance hall, storage and a well equipped kitchen / diner. The Annexe has colour TV, VCR, CD player, fridge freezer, washing machine / dryer, access to the garden, farm and a barbecue. We can offer you coarse fishing in the river and trout fishing in our ten acre trout lake.

The Annexe is classified by the Tourist Board with a 3 star rating. The nearest shops are in Needham Market two miles away and there are two supermarkets each within a ten minute drive.

On the farm we breed rare cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry. If you want to join in on the farm you will be most welcome. If, on the other hand, you want to do your own thing then feel free.

The nearest shops are 2 miles away in Needham Market with a traditional butcher, a pick your own fruit and vegetable farm and shop. There are 3 supermarkets all within 10 minutes drive. There is a wide choice of restaurants and pubs in the local area. Bicycle hire can be arranged. Both trout fishing and coarse fishing are available on the farm. The Suffolk coast is within easy reach with a choice varying between the busy port of Felixstowe through to the charm of Southwold, a delightful and popular seaside town. Baylham House Farm is located on the Gipping Valley footpath system and the local area has plenty of interesting mammals and birds to be seen so boots and binoculars are very useful.

A booking form will be sent to visitors intending to stay and should be returned together with a deposit of 25% of the rental. The balance of the rental should be paid four weeks before arrival. The booking form also allows you to order papers, milk, eggs, sausages and bacon to await your arrival. If for any reason you need to cancel your holiday, please notify us as soon as possible and we undertake to do our utmost to re-let the accommodation. If we are successful, a refund of all monies received by Baylham House will be made, less an administrative charge of £10.00. We are very sorry but, if the accommodation is not re-let, no refund will be payable. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out some form of holiday cancellation insurance. Payment can be by cheque or electronic means.
