Vacation Rental Description
Beside the river Waveney, on the border of Suffolk and Norfolk is this charming miller's house with lots of character and lots to do. This is a quiet rural area with lovely beaches and the heritage coastline about half an hour away by car. There are excellent pubs and restaurants with Harleston nearby; a market town with many good food shops, farmers market and cafes.  
The garden is exceptional with a river frontage and beautifully planted with an orchard and a crinkle-crankle wall. The boundries lead onto the Angles Way - a wonderful secret walk along the Waveney Valley. There is a trampoline for the energetic and a hammock for those in the mood for relaxation. Outdoor eating and a barbeque are perfect here for long summer evenings. There are bikes and an Old Town Canoe and a rowing boat. You may spot kingfishers, otters or a heron. We have private fishing.

    • Bressingham Steam Musuem is a fun day out with wonderful old trains and tractors to see and ride on. An old steam carousel is a great hit with small children. 
    Banham Zoo is a well cared for and pleasing zoo. Not too crowded. Wonderful and exotic animals. 
    Our own river frontage provides very good fishing for Pike, Chubb, Tench and Perch. Please feel free to use our boats. 
    There is golfing at nearby Diss or Bungay. 
    Th beaches on the Heritage Coast are some of the most special in England. There are wild unspoilt stretches as well as the more buzzing and eccentric seaside towns such as Southwold and Aldburgh. 
    We have bikes of all sizes to use whenever you like. 
    Also, we invite our guests to paddle downstream in the Old Town Canoe to take in the wildlife.
