Built in the late 1800’s by William Bouverie, Arch Deacon of Norwich, Pear Tree Cottage is a charming rural property set in the beautiful Waveney Valley countryside and within a few meters of public footpaths which take in 170 acres of farmland and woodland.
The cottage, although recently refurbished, retains much of its original character with open fireplaces, stripped wooden doors and original floors. It’s a cosy retreat in the winter and peaceful and relaxing haven in the summer. It is perfectly situated for walking, cycling or exploring the quaint villages and market towns of Norfolk and Suffolk, the beaches of Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Southwold and the historic city of Norwich. Or simply a perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down over the fields whilst sipping a cool glass of wine.
