A beautiful cottage in the Georgian village of Burnham Market, close to the North Norfolk coast. The cottage was refurbished to a high standard in 2008. The cottage has kingsize bed in the master bedroom with a television and twin beds in the other. There is a large open plan kitchen diner downstairs with wood burning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player and a stereo. There is a dining table that seats 6. Outside there is garden with a patio area containing table chairs and a BBQ. The cottage is perfect for couples, families or those who just want to get away from it all. You can self cater or there is plenty in the local area to meet every need from breakfast to Michelin starred dinners.

The village itself contains an amazing array of shops, eateries, pubs and boutiques. You can buy everything from fresh fish and meats, and good wine to hats, dresses and a loaf of bread. There are two excellent restaurants in the Hoste Arms and Fishes, two tea shops and the Michelin starred restuarant of Galton Blackiston at Morston Hall is only a short drive away. The centre of the village is less than 200yds from the front door.

Inside the cottage we have tried to provide for every need. It has electric central heating and wood burning stove for your comfort. The downstairs has comfy leather sofas, television with high definition freesat, a CD/mini disc player, books and DVD's. The kicthen has everything from weighing scales and a microwave to a Halogen hob and dishwasher. The rooms are connected with oak effect flooring. The bathroom is off the ground floor with a new bathroom suite, basin, toilet and electric thermostatic shower over the bath. Both bedrooms have cupboards, drawers, bed side tables, lamps and mirrors. The master bedroom also has a flatscreen Tv with integrated DVD connected to high definition freesat. Both rooms have blackout curtains and painted wooden floorboards.

The local area provides a multitude of activities to suite every taste and requirement. Within a ten mile radius there are two/ golf courses, a driving range, bowling alley, fishing lakes and a swimming pool for the active types. There is bird watching at Snettisham and Titchwell, seal trips from Morston Harbour to Blakney point and plenty of walking including the Pedders Way. The stately home Holkham hall, is less than five miles away and a little further away is the Queen's residence at Sandringham which visitors can tour inside in the summer. In addition there are activities for the family ranging from the many sandy beaches, visits to working windmills, children's farms and a model/ steam railways.

Provided with the cottage is Egyptian cotton linen for the beds and bathroom towels. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Starter tea, coffee, toilet roll are provided. The cottage also has a highchair for children. It must be noted that it does have fairly steep stairs however they have a door at the bottom which is traditional with this type of cottage. A travel cot maybe able to be provided on request. A babysitter can also be arranged with enough notice with the charge payable locally.

The area has lot to offer. It is famous for it's Atlantic coast where you can partake in a range of activities from sailing top golf, horseriding and cycling. There is an extreme high walking in the woods facility 20 miles away.

There is plenty for those that want to see some of nature with bird watching, hiking, beaches, seal watching and a children's farm in the local area.

Other entertainment ranges from stately homes, windmills, steam railways to an eco centre and a trip up a working eletricity producing windmill.

There are also many local villages awith their own attractions including Holt, Cley and Wells next to the sea. Local shopping ranges from boutiques and galleries to real beer shops and butchers. Burnham Market has one of the largest hat shops in East of England

Cancellation after payment of full balance - no refund unless another party can be found to occupy cottage.

Short breaks are often available outside school holidays and the area is an all year round holiday area.
