The Cottage retains its “Olde Worlde” charm but offers all the convenience of a three bed-roomed, two bath-roomed modern home with a fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with exposed beams, stone walls and quarry stone flooring. The large and airy sitting room has beautiful exposed beams, wood flooring and a stable door to the pretty garden. The property is set on the outskirts of the Kingston Lisle down land, in the grounds of the owner’s stud farm with beautiful views across the stud farm and countryside. Guests can enjoy the large garden for relaxing with a glass of wine and a barbecue. The Cottage also has a heated outdoor swimming pool, which makes it a sociable and welcoming property for a group of family and friends.

Off road parking for 4 cars. Sorry no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Shop 1 mile, pub 3 mins walk. Note: Due to unfenced pond & swimming pool, children should be supervised. Note: Working stud farm with race horses - horses should not be fed/petted without prior consent, children/pets to be kept under strict control at all times when near yard and horses. Note: This owner charges a £100 refundable Good Housekeeping Bond. The village of Kingston Lisle is one and a half miles from Uffington, home of the famous White Horse. Set on the edge of the lush, picturesque Lambourn Downs, Kingston Lisle is also close to Wantage, a Saxon market town that offers pubs, restaurants and shops on its cobbled streets. Wantage is home to many fascinating 17th and 18th century buildings and is well-known as the birthplace of King Alfred. Kingston Lisle also affords easy access to the historic Cotswolds towns of Burford, Cirencester and Lechdale, and the beautiful antiques Mecca of Hungerford.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. <br/><br/>Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
