The surrounding area offers Bowood House with its Capability Brown designed gardens, picturesque Lacock village and abbey and the wonderful Roman spa city of Bath. Or simply enjoy the plentiful local amenities of Calne, just a short stroll away.

Note: This property accepts a maximum of 3 adults. The bustling, welcoming community of the Calne has a good range of local shops, pubs and restaurants, and nestles in the River Marden Valley, This ancient market town is part of an historic conservation area, and lies at the heart of the picturesque North Wiltshire countryside, below the Marlborough Downs. Things to discover in this fascinating area include Silbury Hill, the highest man made mound in Europe; Avebury’s famous stone circle at Avebury, and the glorious house and gardens at Bowood on the edge of Calne. Lacock, with its charming National Trust village and abbey, the nearby Kennet and Avon canal that offers delightful boat trips, and the thriving city of Bath are also easily reachable.

A 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
