Kulenin Evi is a private, spacious holiday villa to rent, with air conditioning, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, superbly located in Kalkan village, about 200 metres from the sea front and even less from the centre of the main street. The villa offers stunning views of Kalkan Bay, Kalkan town and the surrounding Taurus Mountains.

The villa is tastefully furnished and is surrounded by private gardens containing a private fresh water swimming pool, a 13 jet hydro air massage system jacuzzi and terraces with sun beds, tables, chairs and umbrellas.

All the rooms have balconies or direct access to patio areas. The villa is a 150 metre stroll to the main street in Kalkan where the shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are, yet in a quiet location. The pebble beach is about 200 metres from the villa.

The ground floor accommodation comprises a large, air-conditioned double bedroom, (5.7m x 3.8m) with a 6 ft. wide bed, dressing room and ensuite shower room and an air conditioned twin bedded room with adjacent shower room, both with direct access to the gardens, pool and terrace.

On the first floor is the air conditioned sitting room, 5.7m x 5.25m, with two balconies overlooking Kalkan Bay. The sitting room has seating for eight, two three seater sofas and one two seater sofa.

DVD/CD players are provided with a range of DVDs/CDs, bring your own if you want to. There are also games, including chess and backgammon and a library of books.

The separate kitchen/dining room is also on the first floor with an extensive range of units, crockery, cutlery and glasswear, cooking utensils, 4 ring gas hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer with balcony with access to the gardens and private swimming pool. There is also a large dining table with chairs.

The second floor comprises a large, air conditioned double bedroom with a 6 ft. wide bed, dressing room and bathroom with jacuzzi and shower and two balconies overlooking Kalkan Bay and the fourth bedroom, air conditioned, with twin beds and ensuite shower room and balcony overlooking the garden and pool with a sea view.

On the third floor you can enjoy a BBQ in the evenings, while gazing at the superb views over Kalkan harbour, the Taurus Mountains and Kalkan town. There is also an attic room with the washing machine, clothes drier, iron, ironing board and fridge to keep you drinks cool while on the roof terrace.

The villa is set in a large private garden which is well stocked with bougainvilleas, jasmine, hibiscus and many other exotic flowers and shrubs. There are also lemon and orange trees, bananas, figs and olives in the garden.

There is a private freshwater swimming pool, about 32 sq. m. and a large 13 jet hydro air massage system jacuzzi, about 4 sq. m. and patio areas with sunbeds, umbrellas and tables and chairs. From the swimming pool there are views of the mountains and Kalkan Bay.

In the evening there are a multitude of places to eat in Kalkan, from the harbour side and famous roof terrace restaurants to the street cafes and bars.

The Kalkan pebble beach is a short stroll from the villa or you can take the bus to nearby Kaputas Beach , a small, sandy beach in a ravine, or visit Patara beach, about 20 mins away by bus, which boasts 12 miles of golden sand. There are many water sports offered, scuba diving, sailing, snorkelling, river canoeing on the Xanthos, cruising on a gulet, parasailing or just swimming.

You can hire a jeep to tour, you can paraglide in Kas or Olu Deniz or take a trip to Saklikent Gorge, the longest and deepest gorge in Turkey. If you want to explore the ancient historical sites there are many to choose from. You could take a boat trip along the Dalyan to see the rock tombs or visit nearby Xanthos, the capital city of the Lycian Federation and walk round the amphitheatre and tombs.

A reservation deposit of £200 per week booked is payable on booking your holiday. Full payment is due 56 days before departure. A refundable deposit of £250 cash to cover any damage, breakage or other loss is required. This is payable on arrival in Kalkan to our agent and will be repaid less any necessary deductions within seven days of departure after the villa has been checked.
