Vacation Rental Description
Villa Amare is a beautiful villa located in Kisla, kalkan, just 100 metres from the sea and beach club. It is tastefully decorated and boasts local travertine tiling throughut. Each of the five large bedrooms has its own generous en-suite bathroom,with the penthouse bedroom having a spa bath and generous roof terrace for stunning views over the bay of Kalkan. The large living room opens out onto your own swimming pool (all one depth) and off this is a delightful eating area with a locally made dining table that seats 10 comfortably. There is here a stone BBQ for those lovely lazy evenings at home!
The villa has all you need for a relaxing stay. The living room has a 32" flat TV and DVD, and there are many books and local leaflets for you to enjoy. There is a simple CD player with a few CD's - bring your own favourites.
NEW for 2011 - INTERNET access.
Our lovely property manager is Tamer, who will look after you during your stay. Every day he brings fresh bread to the villa!
The entrance terrace has a lovely shady seating area, where you can escape fom the very hot sun and enjoy the flowers (bouganvillea, jasmine and others) cascading over the wall.
Facilities
The penthouse bedroom has its own rooftop terrace with amazing views over the bay of Kalkan. All double bedrooms have kingsize beds and their own large balconies. The penthouse has a spa bath. There is a lovely lounging area with very comfy sofas on the entrance terrace, under a pergola to escape from the very hot sun.
Activities
We really recommend the famous Lycian Way for fantastic walks in stunning scenery. A great thing to do in the quieter and cooler months of March. April and May when all the gorgeous spring flowers are out. The hills are carpeted in wild anenomes and orchids - a world away from the bustling resorts.
Lycia is full of ancient historical sites including Xanthos, Pinara and Patara, all of which merit a visit. Again if you are interested in these it is well worth considering an off season holiday as Kalkan is very hot in the peak summer months of June, July and August.
Travel Options
- Nearest Airport : Dalaman at 112 kilometers distance;
- Nearest Town : Kalkan at 1 kilometers distance
- Travel Info: Kisla is just a kilometre from Kalkan, and is considered to be the premier location for discerning guests due to it being quieter and, in the very hot days, cooler due to a welcome breeze from the sea. It is not inaccessable however as there is a water taxi from hte beach club just down the hill, and in the high season there is a small bus that goes into Kalkan. Car hire is also widely availbale.

A security deposit of £200.00 is also required with balance - refundable within two weeks provided there are no losses, breakage or damage to the villa. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU INSURE YOUR OWN BOOKING. CANCELLATION CHARGES: up to 6 weeks - loss of deposit between 6 and 2 weeks - 50% 2 weeks or less - 100% YOU MUST INSURE AGAINST CANCELLATION

We have had two lovely stays in Villa Amare - the second time with our 15 month old daughter too.
The accommodation is beautiful and spacious with everything you need to relax at the villa. Morning coffee on the veranda among the fragrant flowers, lazing on a sunbed taking in the amazing view, cooling off in the pool and chilled out evenings, having a barbeque on the pool terrace. Bliss.
For venturing out, Kalkan has great bars and restaurants and a day trip on a gulet (boat) is a must.
Taxis are easy to get between Kalkan and Kisla and for the brave of legs, you can walk too!

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying at your gorgeous villa in kisla. We have had the best two weeks ever and everything was just great. Thank you so much for all your help with the planning of our holiday. I will remember our time in Kisla with such joy and hope to return again.

Welcome to our very special villa Amare..
Welcome to our profile .... we love our villa and regard it as our home abroad which we share with our guests. We bought the villa in 2008 because of its wonderful location and close proximity to the Kalkan beach club - just down the hill. Also the prestigious Villa Mahal hotel and beach club is within walking distance.
Kisla has wonderful views across the bay of Kalkan but remains quiter than Kalkan, so just the place to relax and escape from the stresses of modern living.
