Fully equipped with 2 bedrooms and two ensuite bathrooms with superb showers. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Both bedrooms are air conditioned. Mediterranean blue and white theme throughout. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, 4 ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, kettle, cafetiere and toaster, iron and ironing board. Electricity 220v (UK) adaptor plugs in bedrooms. Mosquito repellent plugs also provided. Full length balcony enables breakfast to be taken while watching boats ply back and forth across the bay. Quiet location overlooking picturesque fishing village of Kalkan. Stunning uninterrupted panoramic sea and island views. Shared swimming pool with 5 other apartments. Loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs plus BBQ are placed around the pool for enjoyable meals al fresco. Access to exclusive boutique hotel Villa Mahal facilities and rocky bathing platforms. Excellent snorkelling/diving. Tennis available. Local shop. Water taxi to village centre, harbour restaurants and shops 5 minutes. Suit couples seeking casual sophistication, relaxation. Area Details
This is your dream of a small Mediterranean fishing village, probably the best kept secret in Europe. Kalkan is an enchanting harbour village on one of the most beautiful and unspoilt stretches of the southern Turkish coast. Narrow, cobbled streets, bougainvillea-covered villas, roof terrace bars and harbour-side restaurants. Kalkan offers a peasantly surprising mixture of local ethnicity and a relaxed sophistication. Away from the hustle and bustle, a place to relax and enjoy the good things in life. There is a stunning coastline against the backdrop of the Taurus mountains, and ancient sites of Xanthos, Letoon, Patara and Tloss are all no more than a day trip away.

Travel Details
Water taxi and taxi 5 minutes to harbour/restaurants/shops. Local buses to Kas, Fethiye and beaches. A car is not essential as taxis are easily available and inexpensive, however daily car hire is easily arranged for day trips to places of interest.

    £100 non refundable deposit required upon booking. This can be by cheque or BACs transfer. Balance due 6 weeks prior to departure. Please note you will be responsible for any damage incurred, other than reasonable wear and tear. Each person renting the apartment is responsible for his/her own insurance. The owners cannot accept any liability for any accidents or injuries within the apartment, apartment grounds or over the duration of the holiday. Arrival at the apartment must be after 1400 hrs and departure must be before 1100 hrs, unless this has been negotiated.

    We had the most wonderful holiday here in September 2010. Kalkan is such an amazing place, and I have already highly recommended it as a holiday destination to all my friends! The apartment we stayed in was great. Really light and airy, with a fully equipped kitchen ( I even managed to cook a traditional Moussaka in the mini oven one night!!), a selection of great books to read kindly left by the owners (saves having to bring any out in the suit case), comfy beds, lovely pool, and the best bit - the incredible views over Kalkan bay that we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the private balcony each morning, or when having a few glasses of wine in the evenings! I will defintiely be returning to Kalkan and to this apartment again this year hopefully.
