We had a fantastic holiday here and loved the apartment - the owner is very helpful and and answered our numerous questions. It was spacious, clean and extremely well equipped - even had an egg slicer in the drawer. We loved the swimming pool and spent many days here sunbathing on the terrace nipping backwards and forwards into the apartment for a nice cold drink or snack. We had the swimming pool to ourselves some days as many of the apartments are rented out to local Turkish people who go off to work each day. Everyone was so friendly and helpful - Ramazan the gardener/security guy comes round each day and takes your order for bread so you can have it delivered fresh each day to your apartment door. You can also order water in big drums to save you carrying it from the supermarket – much appreciated as we had temperatures rising up in the late forties some days.
Belek itself is fairly small with most shops selling fake designer gear, jewellery and souvenirs – there are supermarkets and internet cafes and a good selection of restaurants. We found it very cheap to eat out compared to the UK and most places give you free starters and free fruit afterwards. The biggest advantage for us was the fact we could walk into town in the evening so didn’t have to rely on a taxi. Also worth mentioning is that it is very quiet with no noisy karoke bars or discos or bars with loud booming music
We did many trips which were all enjoyable. We went to Side by boat booked from Belek beach - on the way the boat stops for swimming and turtle spotting and we were even lucky enough to see a flock of flamingos. We also went to the Troy Water Park easily reached by the tractor and trailor which goes many times a day from the town to the beach. We also did white water rafting which is an amazing experience - be prepared for the cold water though! As we hired a car we drove to Antalya – Turkey's fourth larges city - you need to have nerves of steel to drive here!!!! We did drive in the opposite direction up through the mountains to Aspendos and beyond here it was much less stressful and the only hazard was herds of goats or an occasional cow on the road.
Belek beach is sandy with some restaurants and plenty of shaded areas which is a must in the high temperatures. Kadriye beach is more stony but has lots of grassy areas to sit and relax in the sunshine.
All in all a fantastic holiday - a real get away from it all type of place.

Apartment very spacious and well maintained with all mod cons. Also comes with CD collection with something for everyone!
Balcony overlooks pool area for that nice romantic candle lit drink in the evenings.
We didn't hire a car as we prefer to lounge by the pool by day and walk in to town for a meal at night where there's a plethera of resurants to choose from and most at a very reasonable rate; free breads, salads and dips for starters and fresh fruits for dessert you'll question the bill when it arrives and wonder how they can do so much for so little.
However if that's not your scene then there's plenty of things to do in the area, from going to the beach (slightly too far to walk but easy access either by taxi or tractor/trailers which are frequent between the town and beach) to a round of golf at one of the many golf courses in the town. Day trips are also available from either the town centre or the beach from boats trips to Side or rafting through the Koprulu canyon.
The market at the weekend is a must to vist from local fruit and veg to the latest fashion, but be prepared to haggle for the best prices.
Returning again next year (2011) this will be are fourth time. Couldn't wish for a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

The apartment was a superb home from home, clean tidy spacious and close enough for a little wander in to town. You seem to be on another time clock with everyone so easy going and relaxed. You can't beat a little stroll down to the market, lots of good natured hustle and bustle, a browse and then pick up some street food and eat it on the way back to the apartment and then a dip in the pool followed by a cold beer on the balcony.
There's a regular mini tractor pulled train thing which goes down to the beach where there's a fair selection of places to eat at. You must try the Turkish breakfast - just fantastic looking out to sea, over a table laden with goodies with the sun glistening on the water. Heaven!
In the evening there are plenty of places to choose from for a drink or a meal, some of the best ones you just stumble upon.
We had planned to do a bit of exploring but Belek itself, whilst not huge, had everything we needed to chill out and forget about work for a week or two.
All in all, we can thoroughly recommend both the apartment and Belek, we hope to go back again.

A lovely, comfortable and well-equipped apartment welcomed us on our first visit to Turkey at the end of April and into the beginning of May. There is ample accommodation for a family and we enjoyed meals on the balcony overlooking the lovely pool.
As we decided to hire a car for the whole week, we didn't make use of the tourist bus service to get to Belek public beach. Parking was never a problem.
Having the car, we were able to explore both the unspoilt hinterland with its tiny rural villages, and the beautiful coastline, including the historic sites at Side to the east and Perge, just off the main road, to the west.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable outing to Aspendos for a remarkable evening performance, in the new open-air amphitheatre, of dance based on the history of the region.
The local people were friendly and we enjoyed trying beginners' Turkish in a number of local restaurants which offered quality food at a reasonable price.
All in all, a truly memorable holiday.
