Charming Göcek – a place of tranquil beauty on Turkey’s Aegean coast, an area steeped in ancient myth and history. Sheltered by the Taurus Mountains, Göcek village and the bay beyond opens out to the Eastern Mediterranean Sea - the setting is simply breathtaking.

Chic,sophisticated but never stuffy, Göcek is a wonderful base for those who seek total relaxation. Its many cafes and restaurants offer traditional Turkish and modern European cuisine, all prepared from local organic produce, its natural food just like it used to be.

We offer Villa Melissa and sister Villa Papatya for short or longer lets, perfect for couples, families and larger groups seeking a special place to enjoy a 5 star self catering holiday. The villas offer all the convenience of beautiful family homes close to the village centre. Villas may be rented together or separately, each villa sleeps up to 8 guests.

Tastefully furnished in an elegant mix of antique and modern Mediterranean styles; the villas are harmoniously decorated; both are of the same high quality. Each villa has 3 ensuite bedrooms with aircon and private balcony. Each villa has a downstairs toilet with washbasin.

Spend the days as you wish; read in the shade of the pines, develop a tan, swim laps for exercise in the huge pool or just to cool down. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks at the private bar then an evening BBQ or walk into the village for dinner at a harbour café; from simple kebabs to fresh fish and lobster, the choice is endless.

Why Gocek? It is a little piece of paradise on earth- that's why!
We sailed into this lovely area in 1999 and loved the village and the marinas so much we decided to stay. In 2002 we bought Villa Papatya adding Villa Melissa in 2008. We spend up to six months a year in Gocek, normally in the cooler months of spring and autumn. During the high season months and over winter we live in our home in Scotland,..

Mandatory 35% deposit on booking, balance due 8 weeks before booking start date. Direct bank transfer preferred or personal cheque in Sterling(UK pounds). Rental contract issued with each confirmed booking.

We welcome families with children. Evening baby sitting service by special arrangement.

Preferred arrival day is Friday, Saturday or Monday. We will accommodate your booking outside of these days if we can.

Your villa will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and beds will be made-up. A welcome grocery and refreshments pack will be provided.

Bed linen is changed once a week, bath/hand towels provided twice a week when the maid cleans.

Guests are kindly requested to bring personal stereo/ipod for use at the poolside to preserve the tranquil atmosphere of the area.
