Gocek is a small jewell on the Turquoise Coast in Turkey. There is limited night life, but lots of good restaurants at reasonable price. The villa is brand new and is on a small complex with a backdrop of picturesque mountains. There is a pool and garden and a terrace for eating al fresco. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of which is en suite. There are three double beds, and three single beds in a very large bedroom, so it can sleep 9 people comfortably. The kitchen has a dish washer, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and there is a washing machine in the villa.

Gocek is a small village with a marina. If you want a lot of night life this is not for you. It has lots of good restauants and shops, and a very attractive walk along the front. As well as the enormous privately owned yachts, there are either yachts for you to hire either with or without a crew, or boat trips to different parts of the coast. A favourite is the 12 Island trip, where there are several stops, including two for swimming. The town of Fethiye is a 20 minute drive away with a fabulous market/restaurants. I can hire a car for you to meet you at Dalaman airport which is 20 minutes away, or arrange airport transfer. The local dolmus (bus) will take you to Fethiye, and although it doesn't stick to a timetable, you only have to stand at the end of the curb and it will stop for you. There is also a local market in Gocek on Sunday mornings which sells anything from veg/fruit, clothes, home goods to jewellery.
