Yalikavak is a small seaside town, 15 min drive outside the city of Bodrum. It sits on the edge of a mountainous peninsula with some stunning views and lots of coves and beaches tucked away all along the coast.  
Both Yalikavak and Bodrum have great nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants. Alternatively you can find great local restaurants all along the coast.  
 
The Aegean coast of Turkey has an enormous number of heritage sites. Bodrum boasts the ruins of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, The Temple of Halikarnos,in Altinkum you will find the extraordinary remains of the Temple of Apollo. A day trip takes you to the ancient city of Ephesus or the stunning limestone cliffs of Pamukale or take a ferry to the Greek island of Kos.
