A short drive or Dolmus ride to the busy centre of Turgutries and the stunning beaches at Akyalar, this Villa gives you the flexibilty of having the holiday that you want - either in the bars, or enjoying the tranquility of the most amazing sun sets from the balcony, on the beach or at the large shared pool. 
Some holiday makers have chosen NOT to hire a car and found the Dolmus service convenient and regular, and just a short walk from the Villa. Taxi fares to the centre cost about £6 each way and Taxi's run 24 hours a day. 
 
Set on a residential site the Villa is best described as modern and executive, enjoying all mod cons inc air conditioned lounge. Choice Villa is decorated in a modern but executive manner, much better than the basic surroundings found in most rental properties.

The resort itself is a charming, cheerful place. A bubbly harbour town sporting a new marina and backed by aromatic fruit orchards and rugged mountains, it's relaxing without being over-quiet. So once you've snoozed on the amazing 19 kilometres of dark sands, there's plenty else. Choose from feasting on the fresh fish served at the many inviting restaurants, sipping on an ice-cold beer at a friendly bar or rummaging around the souvenir shops or Saturday market. And at night, maybe it's dinner on the waterfront marvelling at a spectacular sunset or grooving at the many music spots. Or why not go exploring? Catch a boat to Kos or Rhodes or enjoy a tour of Ephesus. 
 
Holidays in Turgutreis are ideal for all sorts too. For families, the shallow, child-friendly seas are a real attraction. 
 
The Magic of Turgutreis 
 
What is the Turgutreis Magic, why do we keep going back? 
 
I go back each year because of Turgutreis many beauties. Turgutreis is beautiful in many ways; this wonderful place offers you beautiful clear blue sea, edged with miles of sandy beaches looking out to the 14 beautiful Islands which surround Turgutreis. The famous panoramas made up by the surrounding hills and coastline and the most magnificent sunsets which rival the best in the world. 
 
INot only is Turgutreis a fishing village but it is also set in a rich valley of orchards and vegetable farms. The produce from the area is brought each week to the Saturday market which I love to walk round and sample the fresh produce, take in the smells of the spices and herbs and as I walk further into the market I can pick up some great deals on clothes and "designer" handbags and meet some of the interesting characters from the area. 
 
The fresh produce of the market makes its way to the local restaurants where you will never be stuck for good food to eat. You can sample the best of Turkish cooking or stick to you good old Full English Breakfast if that’s what your tastes buds are after. 
 
After my meal I often take a walk around the centre of town and browse through the shops picking up presents from the many gold and silver shops and gifts shops on offer. If you are after the real deal Armani or Gucci then head up to the Marina where you will find designer shops, bars and restaurants. The Marina is the newest addition to Turgutreis and you will see some magnificent boats and yachts from around the world. But if you are on a budget this is not the place for a drink or meal as the prices here match the designer clothes. 
 
And as I walk back up to the centre along sea front past restaurants and up to bar street I remember why I love Turgutreis so much, it’s the people, the staff and the business owners of Turgutreis they welcome you into there town as if you are family. Each bar, restaurant, hotel and shops all have something different to offer. Yet on thing remains the same the welcome you get and the feeling of belonging you get when ever you walk into their establishment. They never forget your drink!
