"Santosha" - the feeling of being content with what we have. To be at peace within and content with one's lifestyle finding contentment even while experiencing life's difficulties. We should accept that there is a purpose for everything and we cultivate contentment 'to accept what happens'. It means being happy with what we have rather than being unhappy about what we don't have.

Situated on the ancient city of Myndos (the remains of which can still be seen in Gumusluk Bay), Gumusluk is an historic, beautiful and peaceful place. And because Gumusluk is protected from further development it will remain that way.
Gumusluk bay is a magical place in the evening where you can try one of the many fish restaurants right on the water's edge, and bask in the glow of the beautiful gourd lanterns.
Gumus means silver in Turkish and so Gumusluk is said to have been so named because silver was mined in ancient Myndos. An alternative suggestion for the name is that the reflection of the moon on the water turns the bay a beautiful silver. Either way, Gumusluk is a Turkish jewel.
