The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen leading to a large living area with a terrace to the garden. There are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a sofa bed in the lounge and a bathroon with shower etc. The apartment is double-glazed and has central heating. This apartment is in a small private complex which has views of the mountains, town and islands. There is a privately managed pool 2 minutes from the apartment which is usually open April to September and is charged on a nominal daily rate payable locally. 
 
The town of Turgutreis is 45 minutes from Bodrum airport and is situated at the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula and has a friendly, family appeal with many cafes, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. Nestling behind the promenade is the mosque, bazaar and a variety of small shops. On Saturdays, it hosts the largest open air market on the peninsula. The recently developed marina is believed to be the third largest in Europe. There is small harbour at the end of the promenade from where daily boat trips for sightseeing, swimming or scuba diving depart. Water sports are available. The sandy beach is clean and well presented with free sunbeds and parasols which are serviced by the beachside cafes and restaurants. The views to the islands which include the Greek island of Kos, are stunning particularly at sunset. 
 
The larger, busier town of Bodrum is only 25 minutes away by public transport and the many beautiful but smaller coastal villages are also easily accessible by local transport. The water park, one of the largest in Turkey, which is en-route to Bodrum is well worth a visit for all ages. 
 
Excursions to a variety of places, including the historical sites of Ephesus and Pamukkale are easily arranged at reasonable prices.
