Some offer traditional Turkish evenings with belly dancers,dancing troupes and other entertainments. The harbour offers boat trips to local islands and coves and there are ferries to Bodrum and the Greek island of Kos. For a fun day out there is the the Didim aquapark which has its own regular bus service. Altinkum is the perfect location for exploring the many places of interest in the region. The famous Temple of Apollo is just 1 km away from the centre of the resort. The ancient ruins of the city of Ephesus and the quaint winemaking village of Sirince are just one hour away.
