3 Bedroom Villa in Akbuk

The villa has three floors 
 
Ground: Hall, toilet/utility, lounge/living room with an outside terrace. The kitchen area has another terrace which is glazed with sliding panels to house a dinning area. 
 
First floor: One double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with verandas. Bathroom, shower and toilet with a laundry area. 
 
Top floor: En-suite double bedroom with a substantial roof terrace for sunbathing. 
 
Akbuk is very peaceful and offers beautiful scenery with a delightful bay, surrounded by green mountains. There are surrounding pine forests and numerous olive groves in the locality. The Sitesi is situated in the heart of the local community. 
 
The bay's sea front is lined with trees and offers wonderful views of the Bodrum peninsular. The sunset over the bay is spectacular viewing. 
 
The bay area around Akbuk is approx 8 km long. It offers a number of quiet beach areas and parks, 20 
 
or so restaurants along the seafront, a small harbour, an area with various shops and a 
 
large outdoor market held every Friday. The market sells fresh dairy produce, fish, confectionery, fruit and vegetables. Many other items are for sale such as clothing and plants. 
 
Akbuk is very tranquil and is an excellent place where you can really get away from the hustle and bustle 
 
of everyday life. It offers many areas which you can explore either by foot, bicycle or car. 
 
Sun, turquoise sea, unpopulated bays and coves, mountains and lakes provide you with the perfect environment for a relaxing holiday. From April to October the Aegean coastline provides an ideal climate offering perfect conditions where you can relax on the sandy beaches, visit remarkably well preserved historical sites or enjoy the peace of untouched landscapes. You will also experience the natural warmth, friendliness and traditional hospitality offered by the Turkish people in Akbuk. 
 
Close by are the small villages of Yesilkent, Kazikli, Bozbuk and Dezinkoy which are relatively small in 
 
size but worth exploring, The lagoon area at Yesilkent is rich with wildlife such as lizards, pelicans and flamingos. 
 
Akbuk is not a commercialised resort. However, Altinkum is just a 25 minute small bus (dolmus) ride away (a transportation experience not to be missed). Car hire is readily available too. Altinkum has a town area and a sandy beach with typical seaside resort facilities. 
 
Akbuk is a residential town with no high rise hotels, in July & August the town is populated with Turkish holiday makers, most of whom own second houses in the area. It is a delighful place "to get away from it all" and relax on holiday.

Akbuk is a self contained relaxed and tranquil resort on the western Aegean coast 20 minutes from the popular resort of Altinkum. Set on a small bay with stunning blue and calm waters and backed by lush mountains Akbuk is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday. For the more active there are several activities available, horse riding, watersports, fishing trips, walking and bike riding.  
 
There are several restaurants, bars and cafes stretching along the seafront promenade, perfect for a quiet drink watching the sunset over the Aegean and for the more lively there are one or two nightclubs and hotels with cabaret or theme nights.  
 
There is a weekly market offering a huge choice of goods, locally grown produce, gifts and souvenirs, leather goods, clothing and linens, ceramics and local crafts to name a few.
