Vacation Rental Description

Given a five star rating by the Saas Fee Tourist Office, this privately owned, newly built penthouse apartment is modern, spacious and stylish. It is only two minutes walk from the centre of the village, and eight minutes walk from the nursery slopes/ski lifts. The large sunny balcony has stunning views across the mountain range, glacier and nursery slope. The apartment has been furnished to a high standard and the impressive sitting room with dining area has an open log fire, flat screen TV,DVD & CD player. There is also high speed internet access. There are three bedrooms, one double (which has an incredible view) and two twins. One of the twins is en-suite and there is an additional bathroom for the other two rooms. There is a lift which has exclusive direct private access to inside the apartment. Located in the basement is a superb Wellness Centre. This has a fully equipped gym, two saunas, a steam room, jacuzzi and plunge pool and massage service on request.

Aptly named, Saas Fee does have a magical quality for this village is brimming with character and Swiss charm, with its delightful restaurants tucked away in the woods and traditional shops on the car free cobblestoned streets. A romantic getaway and a great family resort with a huge range of activities that you can do in both Summer and Winter. Apart from the skiing which can be enjoyed all year round, you can take the cable car up to Hannig and sledge down a 5km run, day and night! There is a bob sleigh track on the mountain side, husky rides, an outdoor ice skating rink, mountain biking, ice climbing, zip wire across the gorge, bungy trampolining, an Olympic size swimming pool and children's pool with slide. There are over 30kms of hiking trails, 100kms of ski slopes, cross country trails and a snowboard park which has 10 foot walls of ice - the famous Half Pipe. The nursery slopes are ideal for beginners with a special fun snow park for young children and a first class ski school.

50% Deposit due when contract signed via bank transfer. The remainder is due one week before travel. When taking out the contract you must have valid travel insurance which covers cancellations.

You won't be disappointed!

We have stayed in Saas Fee every year for the last 20! We were lucky enough in 2003 to take advantage of the village allowing a few foreigners to purchase holiday homes and immediately jumped at the chance. All of our children who are now 18, 12 and 10 learnt to ski in Saas Fee and so did we! I have been to many other ski resorts but there is something magical about Saas Fee that nowhere else quite compares to.
To us it was important to buy a property in the right location, and we definitely got that right. We are only 2 minutes away from the centre of the village and 6 minutes from the nursery slopes but it is also very quiet and has the most incredible views! You can't beat sitting on the balcony when the sun is out!
80% of our bookings are repeats. Everyone wants to come back, once they have stayed.
There are many restaurants that we love going to in Saas Fee. Our favourites are Waldhaus Bodmen - a wonderful walk to get there and Don Cicco in the village - great pizzas!
There is so much to do in Saas Fee other than sking which you don't get in many other resorts. The 5km sledge run - Hannig is fantastic fun and so is the Rodelbhan (a rollercoaster that you control)! There are lots of beautiful walks and many restaurants tucked away in the woods.
