Morgins is a picturesque Swiss village in one of the biggest ski areas of 650kms piste (Portes du Soleil) 12 linked resorts include Chatel, Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets.
Within easy reach of the village is Château d'Oex, Gstaad, the castle at Aigle with a unique wine museum, and on the shores of Lake Geneva, the Château de Chillon at Montreux, the Olympic museum in Lausanne, several all year water parks and many thermal swimming pools (water is 34 degrees).
Morgins nestles in Switzerland between Chatel and Avoriaz. Its North facing slopes are usually the first to open within the Portes du Soleil, and one of the last to close.
Morgins caters well for kids with a toboggan & nursery slopes in the village centre with progressive kids slopes at the top of the village. There is a jardin d’enfants, & garderie for children over the age of 2 mths.
Other facilities include snow walking, from the door ski du fond and ice skating.
