Chalet Schnee Eule (Snow Owl) is the perfect place to unwind and relax while viewing the majestic Alps mountains all around you. Perfect for a romantic get away. Grachen boast over 10 specialty restaurants serving the finest in Swiss & continental cuisine and excellent wines from the Valis valley region. In winter there is a nearby ski lift with ski runs for children and adults. In summer ther are numerous hiking trails and a minigolf course.
The chalet has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed while the second one has two twin beds. There is a sitting bath and shower bathroom and the living room has satellite TV, stereo,sofa, Dvd player and adjoins the garden patio. It is a lower unit in a two unit Chalet.

The area enjoys many fine restaurants serving fine Valais wines, with music at night and weekends. There is a lake above the village and a mountain top restaurant with a view of the Matterhorn. Two ski lifts are within walking distance with fantastic views from the top. One has a ski area for children.

- Travel Info: Grachen is a quaint, almost fairy tale Swiss village along the Zermatt Valley, just above the St. Niklaus train station stop. It is blessed by lots of sunshine, has excellent skiing in winter and numerous hiking trails radiating from Grachen. There is the Ried Glacier that can be reached 1.5-2 hours from the Chalet. There are direct train connections from Zurich Airport or Zurich train station to Brig where the Red Glacier Express connects Brig to St. Niklaus and then a shor bus ride to Grachen. Geneva offers another excellent connection by train as does Milan train station.You can also drive by car directly to Grachen. Parking is provided for one car.
