Vacation Rental Description
The Lodge at 1240 m is located at the top of town 100 meters from the chairlifts to the main Staetzerhorn section of The Lenzerheide resort & Churwaldens’ own Pradaschier ski area.
The shops & supermarket in Churwalden are also only a short walk from the property.
A wooden “chalet style” 1st floor houses 5 bedrooms & the massage/reading room. Three triple single bedrooms & two twin rooms. The largest bedroom has a shower & basin with the other 4 bedrooms having wash basins & sharing the shower on the landing as well as a shower on the ground floor. Two toilets are on the 1st floor & separate ladies & gents toilets on the ground floor.
Furthermore, we offer a large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom/bath/shower & WC (on the ground floor).
The Lodge can sleep up to 15 guests.
The Ground floor hosts a large dining area, kitchen, bar & living room with flat screen TV, DVD, Sky Satellite,Wireless Internet access & beanbag-loungers to relax in.
“The Boardroom” in the below garage is home to the workshop for in house ski & board services with another separate ski & board storage room in the basement.
The Lodge is centrally heated & hot water is on constant re-heat mode for the showers.
Food & Drink in WINTER.
A daily "self serve" buffet breakfast is available with tea, coffee, cereals and freshly baked croissants & bread.
The evening menu with a starter includes pasta dishes, curries, fondue, meat & vegetables, stews, pizza & local specialities to name but a few.
When booking we will try to meet all your dietary requirements especially for Vegetarians. Just inform us what you require well in advance.
The Bar stocks a good variety of spirits & mixers, local Beers & Italian, French & Spanish wines at reasonable prices. But we plan to take a pioneering stance with regards to local Swiss laws and offer guests the chance to bring their own wines & beers (BYO) for a small corkage fee.
In SUMMER & AUTUMN The Lodge can be booked as a self catering chalet on a weekly or daily basis.
Ideal for families, hiking , mountainbiking and for lovers of the outdoors - great views, wildlife, wildflowers etc. We also offer 9 liftpasses with the Lodge in the Summer & Autumn months at NO extra cost !!!
The Worlds longest Rodelbahn is 5 mins walk away and heated outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts are behind the property.
The Lenzerheide lake is a short drive away and Chur, The Rhine Valley, The Swiss Canyon, Davos, Arosa and St.Moritz, are all easily accessable.
