Veysonnaz is a ski resort for families in the heart of the Alps in the fabulous ski resort of the 4 Valleys (4-Vallées). The region is world wide known for its 4 seasons sport and outdoor activities. From Veysonnaz (1350 m.) to Verbier, through the Mont-Fort (3330m.) glacier, you will find in front of you more than 400 km of ski slopes.
Les Quatre Vallées is one of the biggest ski areas of Switzerland, located in the French part of Switzerland, Wallis (Valais). Villages nearby are Evolène, Arolla, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, Thyon, Verbier and Le Châble.
With +/- 400 km of slopes and over 100 lifts, there is a great variety of slopes. For beginners, there is the area near the arrival of the cableway in Veysonnaz. For the experts the Mont Gelé will be a real challenge. Beside this there is a 15 kilometer long downhill from Mont-Fort (3314 meter) to Le Châble (829 meter). Average annual snowfall in the area is 5.8 meter (19ft).
